Pumpkin Spiced Latte
Yummy latte that's quick to make and has a lot less calories than the ones from Starbucks? Ah go on then, why not!
- 250 ml unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp canned pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 shot freshly brewed strong coffee (slightly cooled)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- pinch ground nutmeg
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until combined (a blender is not 100% necessary as it could all be whisked in a saucepan on the stove and heated through this way, though it my not turn out quite as frothy on top).
Pour into a microwaveable mug and microwave on high until heated through (1-2 minutes depending on the wattage of your microwave)
This, of course, can also be made with decaffeinated coffee,
